    Where can you afford to buy and live?

    August 17th, 2016

    I was recently quite inspired by the story of a religious community – Orthodox Jews – and their quest to find affordable housing in the UK, rx moving from North London to Canvey Island where big homes for larger families are affordable. You may think the UK property market is super expensive but the truth is there are still pockets of value if you crunch the data. Here at UKCrimestats we have done that and so have a new free app;

    Just type in your budget for a home, select the type of home and then select the area – postcode district, postcode sector – and a number of other shapes. We have also included the crime data in the results.

    Your feedback most welcome to dan@economicpolicycentre.com
